The Candlelighters Trust has been bringing light and hope to every family affected by childhood cancer across Yorkshire since 1976 - as have many similar charities throughout the world.

They understand the complexities and impacts of a childhood cancer diagnosis and work hard to help families through extraordinary circumstances - throughout the lives of those affected.

We all know how challenging Christmas can be for those whose loved ones are unwell or have passed away. We all have friends in this position so don’t be afraid to remind them that you are there for them - they need your support, not your silence.

We stopped sending physical Christmas cards some time ago in favour of sending a Christmas message and donating the equivalent of what we might have spent on Christmas cards, stamps etc., to a charity and this Christmas we have chosen Candlelighters Trust.

Our sole purpose at Pabasso - Peer Advisory Board Associates is to help. Whilst we focus on helping Business Leaders progress by talking, sharing expertise and experience, and supporting each other we also include a Charity Leader on a pro bono basis on each of our boards.

So let’s all do our best to support those around us this Christmas - as well as having a great time.
